Orthopaedic Density Foam (standard)
Mammoth dog beds offer an orthopaedic high density foam with an option of 4lb high memory foam on some products at a minimal fee.
All foam options are located under the order details for specific sizes. High density foam provides your dog with the utmost superior quality that Mammoth stands behind. Nothing more is required to make your dog's bed of the highest medical grade orthopaedic quality. All high density or memory foam inserts are encased with a water and soil resistant polypropylene liner. The construction of our foam products follows furniture industry standards. You will be glad to know there are no harmful chemicals that are found on lower imitation imports. The foam manufacturing is all domestic and adheres to strict codes.
Memory Foam (upgrade option)
Visco-Elastic Memory foam was developed in the 1960’s with the latest space age NASA technology. Visco-Elastic offers higher density then regular foams and is made of cells, which open and close to adjust to weight and temperature. In normal temperatures memory foam is firm but when your dog lays down it reacts to your dog's temperature. Cradling your dog in comfort and support. Weight can then be distributed evenly, which can relieve uncomfortable pressure points and allow your dog to sleep in a more orthopaedically correct position which the oblong is known for. Memory foam is the perfect addition to our orthopaedic foam option to offer the ultimate comfort and support. Stability with the utmost comfort and temperature control.
Can't decide which pillow option to go with? Memory foam offers two pillows in one by providing memory foam on the top side and orthpaedic foam on the underside simply flip the pillow to change the application.
Sherpa Option
Sherpa fabrics resemble lambs wool and are made of polyester/cotton. Soft to the touch, Sherpa is preferred for older mature dogs. It offers extreme softness with added comfort, provides a warm cozy feel and is fully washable. Only one side is Sherpa, so you can turn over to expose a canvas side for durability.
